A Madison Wedding

Sarah & Jesse's wedding was beautiful! Here are a few previews...more to come soon!

Chicken & Veggies Noodle Soup

I LOVE this soup and decided it's time to share. Yes, I know it's a little hot for soup, but it's fun to turn on the air and pretend it's cool fall night. Something about soup always makes you feel comfy and content. Also, don't skip the wine, it really makes a difference. I've been to lazy to run out for it if we don't have any on hand and it's just not the same. Plus, you can have a glass;)
FYI-If you click on the actual recipe, it will be easier to read. Enjoy!

Fall Granola Cereal

As much as I love summer, I get overly excited for the beginning of fall. I made this cereal in hopes that it would help tide my cravings for orchards and pumpkins. Kudos to Erik for inspiring this recipe and a camping tradition.

Party. Beach. Saugatuck.

Headed to west Michigan to spend the 4th with crew out there. Had the chance to catch up with the Guernsey crew, the Fredericks (plus Lola) and of course Jane and Calla. A bonfire, the beach and a trip to Saugatuck rounded out the weekend. Fun times:)
* Props to Joe for taking some awesome photos, I guess I need to take his baby away and get some shots of him next time:)

New Style Trial

Photos of people taking photos...mostly;)

As much as I love romping around the city from day to day, it's nice to sometimes step out and see what you can find. A few Sundays ago we stumbled upon a not-so little place called the Morten Arboretum. We fully anticipated a few grounds to wander and take photos of. When we got there we quickly realized how big it was and the 2 hour time frame we allotted before dark may not be enough. Overall it was a great day, we got some great photos and enjoyed ourselves, but not the mosquitoes.

Ladies Retreat

What's a better way to spend a couple of belated birthdays than a week in Florida with your best friend? Nothing, right. That's what we thought when we set off for a week of fun, sun and relaxation. The weather was great and the company was even better. I think Kristen and I need to adopt this as a new tradition.
